A Midwest City mother is speaking out after she says her 14-year-old son, a freshman on the Carl Albert High School football team, was choked, physically harassed, and sexually assaulted by teammates this school year. Neecha Robinson says her son reported what was happening to his football coach, but she claims the coach never notified the principal or her. She says she only learned the full scope of what happened last week.
Robinson also says the principal, Kristin Goggans, showed her a TikTok video of her son being choked but has not provided her a copy, and that her son was discouraged from pursuing the matter. Screenshots shared with the newspaper allegedly show a player discussing a one-day suspension and telling others to lie about what happened in the locker room. The Oklahoma County District Attorney’s office reached out to Robinson on Monday. The school and district superintendent Dr. Rick Cobb have not responded to the newspaper.
