Michael Kiwanuka has shared some heavy news with fans. The singer revealed he suffered a severe stroke earlier this year, caused by a brain bleed from high blood pressure. The release had been on hold for nearly a year while he dealt with his health, and it marks a big creative shift. Recorded in Southampton with his live band, it’s his first album since 2012 without longtime producers Danger Mouse and Inflo, with Kiwanuka taking the lead on production himself.
