Meghan Markle marked International Day of the Girl with a collaboration that means more than most celebrity drops. She partnered with Moms Offering More on a $100 cream crewneck sweatshirt embroidered with the phrase“It’s the Little Things,”and 100 percent of the proceeds go to MOM and Alliance of Moms, the LA-based organization supporting pregnant and parenting youth in foster care.
The phrase traces back to 2014, when MOM founder Kasondra Herrendorf Cohen shared those words with her father, Hershel Herrendorf. He died the following day. Markle was involved from the start of the design process, helping select the neutral colors that she felt reflected her own aesthetic. The sweatshirt comes in sizes S through XXXL on MOM’s website for a limited time, and size large has already sold out.
Markle connected the campaign to her philanthropy work at Archewell, saying parents share one intention: a safe and loving future for children. It’s a small piece of clothing carrying a very big message about family, loss, and the moments that stick with us.
