Madonna’s“Danceteria”just jumped from No. 6 to No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance Airplay chart, giving her a 10th career chart-topper on the ranking. The climb came thanks to a 34% increase in plays among the chart’s 24/7 dance reporters during the Sept. 18-24 tracking week.
The track is the third Confessions II single to reach No. 1, following“I Feel So Free”and“Love Sensation.”With this latest milestone, Madonna passes Ellie Goulding for the fifth-most No. 1s in the chart’s history. The album itself became her 10th Billboard 200 No. 1 back in July, moving 134,000 equivalent album units in its debut week.
The win also gives Warner Records its fourth Dance Airplay No. 1 of 2026, tying Republic Records in the label race. With the Charli xcx“Danceteria Afterhours”remix and Harry Romero remixes keeping the era fresh, Madonna shows no signs of slowing down.
