The new trailer for LISA’s solo documentary“Always Lalisa”just landed, and it’s giving us a side of her we rarely see. The film follows her journey from BLACKPINK into her own solo career, covering the making of her album“Alter Ego,”her acting debut on“The White Lotus,”and the prep for her Coachella 2025 performance.
The most talked-about moment in the trailer is LISA getting candid about how hard the transition was. She reveals that during her years in Korea she had only ever worked with one producer, and stepping into studios with brand-new collaborators left her feeling uncertain. She even says outright,“I think I lacked confidence.”Producers Sammy Soso and Kuk Harrell also describe how shy she was when they first started working together.
Directed by Sue Kim,“Always Lalisa”hits IMAX and theaters worldwide for a limited release on Saturday, October 12, then streams exclusively on YouTube Premium later this year. It’s a rare look at the human side of one of pop’s biggest stars.
