Lindsey Vonn is officially off the market. The 41-year-old skiing legend went Instagram official with French alpine racer Matthieu Bailet on September 23, sharing summer vacation photos that include a poolside kiss and the two of them relaxing in the sea. She captioned the carousel“About that time for a summer recap… pt 1❤️,”and Bailet wasted no time in the comments, writing“Can’t wait to see the summer recap part 2 😉😘.”
Bailet, 30, is from Nice, France, and has been competing on the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup circuit since his 2016 debut at age 19. He also reshared Vonn’s post to his Instagram Stories set to Olivia Dean’s“So Easy (To Fall in Love),”which is about as clear a confirmation as you can get without a formal announcement.
The timing here matters. Vonn has spent most of 2026 recovering from a devastating crash 13 seconds into the women’s downhill at the Winter Olympics in Italy, where she suffered a complex tibia fracture and was airlifted to a hospital. She’s had emergency surgery, is awaiting ACL surgery possibly in November, and said in July that her ankle was still broken five months after the crash.
