Lady Gaga is a mom. She and fiancé Michael Polansky named their first child Rose Bean Polansky, according to a birth certificate obtained by TMZ. The baby was born June 9 at 11:19 p.m. at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, and the couple managed to keep the entire birth under wraps until Page Six confirmed it on Sept. 11.

Page Six also landed exclusive photos of the family of three walking together in Northern California, with Gaga holding the newborn against her chest. A source told People that she and Polansky took the summer off work to be with their daughter, and that they both beam whenever they talk about becoming parents. Gaga has said publicly that being a mom is the thing she wants the most.

The couple started dating in 2019 and announced their engagement at the 2024 Paris Olympics, and there’s now internet chatter that they secretly eloped this summer and are off on a honeymoon. None of that has been confirmed. What we do know is that Rose Bean is here, she’s adorable, and her middle name situation has the internet divided.

So what do you think? Is Rose Bean a perfect name or were you expecting something totally different?
