Kris Jenner stepped out at the“All’s Fair”Season 2 premiere in Rome wearing Elizabeth Taylor’s velvet scorpion cape, a Tiziani design Taylor famously wore to Princess Grace’s Scorpio-themed 40th birthday party in Monaco in 1969.
Kim Kardashian cleared up the mystery on Instagram, explaining that her mom actually owns the cape after buying it at auction. It last sold at Christie’s in 2011 for $74,500, and now it’s getting a second life on screen. In the Season 2 trailer, Kim’s character Allura Grant wears the cape alongside more than $2.7 million in Leviev diamonds.
