Kim Zolciak has two legal battles stacking up at the same time, and neither one is moving slowly. According to court records, Headway Capital sued the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum in April 2026 over a $75,000 business line of credit tied to her dissolved company, 8 Busy B’s LLC. With interest, the claim totals $130,634.03. A second lawsuit from Portfolio Recovery Associates followed in July, seeking $16,759.51 over an alleged credit card debt. Zolciak has not responded to either case, and process servers reportedly couldn’t reach her at her former Georgia residence.
Separately, her 15-year-old son, Kroy“KJ”Biermann Jr., was arrested August 17 and indicted September 3 on multiple sexual offense charges, including aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy, false imprisonment and three counts of sexual battery against a child under 16. His attorney, Jason Sheffield, says KJ is“100 percent innocent”and points to a passed polygraph and an officer’s report noting the GBI found no male DNA on or inside the areas the alleged victim described.
Sheffield filed a motion on September 8 to move the case to juvenile court. KJ’s bond hearing is set for Friday, September 11. With two lawsuits and a criminal case all unfolding in public view, this story is far from over. What do you think, should minors in high-profile families be treated differently by the court of public opinion?
