Kevin Federline Faces a Second Debt Lawsuit After Britney Spears' Child Support Ended

Kevin Federline is dealing with a second unpaid credit card lawsuit, and the timeline is what caught everyone’s attention. Bank of America sued him in a Honolulu court back in February for $12,186.64 in unpaid credit card debt, plus interest, attorneys’fees and $155 in filing costs. By June, the bank moved to dismiss the case with prejudice, which typically signals the balance was paid.

That credit card bill surfaced after Britney Spears stopped paying monthly child support in November 2024 for their two sons, Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19. The payments ending checks out since both boys are now adults. This week, City National Bank filed a separate lawsuit claiming Federline owes $117,704, a much bigger number than the first case.

Federline’s reps haven’t responded to requests for comment, and court records don’t tell the full story of anyone’s finances. What do you think: does a celebrity debt lawsuit belong in the spotlight, or should money matters between exes stay private?
