Ken Urker's Death: Ryan Anderson Breaks Silence, Gypsy Rose Blanchard Calls Him Her Soulmate

Ken Urker, Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s ex-fiancé and the father of her one-year-old daughter Aurora, died Thursday from a suspected overdose at his Louisiana home. It was his thirty-fourth birthday. Police reportedly found drug paraphernalia and a gun at the scene.

Blanchard said she was in disbelief, calling Urker an amazing father and“deeply loved,”and describing him as her soulmate and her red string. The two had quietly ended their relationship roughly a month before his death, and Blanchard has pointed to the cyberbullying he faced online as a factor weighing on him.

Ryan Anderson, Blanchard’s ex-husband, told The Sarah Fraser Show he was in shock and that his first thought went to Blanchard and Aurora. Anderson and Urker never met in person and had tense exchanges over the years, yet Anderson says he reached out to Blanchard’s father and would be there for her as a friend.
