On Sept. 22, he and a few friends set up instruments and microphones in MacArthur Park and launched into an impromptu performance, according to videos fans posted all over social media. No announcement, no stage, no tickets.
Bieber, 32, sat on and behind a cajón as he worked through“Let Me Love You”along with Swag tracks“Speed Demon,”“All I Can Take”and“Yukon.”Fans swarmed in and circled around him. At one point he shook hands with a young boy who picked up a tambourine, and he also wished another kid a happy birthday, telling him,“happy birthday, buddy, have a good one.”
The performance stands out because Bieber has kept a light live schedule since postponing and later canceling his Justice World tour while dealing with Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome, which briefly caused partial facial paralysis. He’s popped up at the Grammys, Coachella and the 2026 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony, but a casual park jam is something else entirely.
