Justice has released“Pusher,”a seven-minute track that marks the duo’s first-ever collaboration with French producer Gesaffelstein. It’s the second single from Justice’s original score for Grand Theft Auto VI, and it pairs dark, pummeling synths with relentless percussion, the kind of music built for an action sequence.
The GTA VI score is quickly becoming a full-blown music event. The first release,“Flowers In a Hurricane,”dropped Oct. 15 and featured SZA, King Gizzard&The Lizard Wizard and Tame Impala. It debuted at No. 62 on the Billboard Hot 100, giving King Gizzard its first-ever hit on the chart.
Grand Theft Auto VI arrives Nov. 19, and the Original Score album drops Dec. 11 via Because Music, Ed Banger and Rockstar Games. It will mark Justice’s fifth studio album. The duo said the game’s scope pushed them to explore a wide range of emotions, genres and textures. Which track from the GTA VI soundtrack are you most excited to hear in full?
