Julia Stiles gave the“Dancing with the Stars”ballroom a serious case of’90s nostalgia on“Dedication Night.”She and partner Ezra Sosa performed a contemporary routine to Frankie Valli’s“Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,”the exact track Heath Ledger’s character uses to serenade her in the 1999 film“10 Things I Hate About You,”as a tribute to her late co-star.

In a pre-recorded intro, Stiles got candid about Ledger’s impact, saying she learned a lot from him, that he was so authentic, and that he brought out the light in everybody. She added that she wished she could tell him how much people still care about the movie. The performance scored 36 out of 40, and afterward Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Gabrielle Union joined her to show support, making the moment even more emotional for fans.

Ledger died of an accidental overdose in 2008 at age 28. Stiles and Sosa said in a joint Instagram statement that the tribute was put together with care, sensitivity, and intention. Which’90s movie moment still makes you emotional? Tell us in the comments.
