Jordyn Woods has officially closed one chapter of Knicks fandom and opened another. At Tuesday’s home opener against the 76ers, she debuted a Trophy Gold take on her Woods by Jordyn Tux Clutch Mini, a $155 ostrich bag that nods to the team’s June championship. The new colorway comes after her Summer Citrus orange clutch, a bag fans dubbed the team’s good-luck charm throughout last season’s playoff run, was officially retired.

The original orange bag had an impressive run of its own. After the Knicks won the title, it went on display at the Guggenheim, turning a design by Woods into a certified museum piece. At the opener, Karl-Anthony Towns, her husband since their August Malibu wedding, kept the tradition alive by posing with the new gold version. Woods summed up the switch simply: the old bag is in retirement, and the new one is for the trophy.

The Tux Clutch Mini comes in black, blue, snake, and off-white crocodile, so the Trophy Gold edit joins an already stacked lineup. Whether it carries the same magic as the original is the question every fan is asking. What’s your go-to lucky charm during your team’s big moments?
