Jon Gosselin is speaking directly to the six children he no longer has contact with, and he’s doing it on camera. In a new Entertainment Tonight interview, the 49-year-old reality TV dad asked his estranged kids to reach out and to read the memoir written by their brother Collin, saying it would“explain a lot.”He added,“I hope you understand that I still love you.”

The family math is brutal: Jon says he hasn’t spoken to twins Mady and Cara, 26, in 13 years and has“no idea why,”while Aeden, Leah, Joel, and Alexis, 22, have been out of touch since before COVID. He remains close only to Collin and Hannah, both 22.“I just want to know how their life is going,”he said.“We’re perfect strangers now.”

Collin’s memoir accuses mother Kate Gosselin of severe child abuse and exploitation, claims she denies. Jon says he’d have grounds to sue Kate for defamation and libel, which could push this feud from the headlines into court. Nearly two decades after the family first appeared on reality TV, the kids are grown and writing their own version of the story.

Would you read a tell-all memoir if your sibling wrote one about your family? Sound off in the comments.
