John Mayer is heading to the Las Vegas Sphere. The singer announced Monday he’ll play six nights next spring, on April 8, 10, 11, 15, 17 and 18, with a twist: the run features solo shows, full-band shows and trio performances, so no two nights look the same.
The announcement lands just after Mayer celebrated the 20th anniversary of Continuum, the album that cemented him as a superstar.“I’d had success already,”he’s said of that era,“but everything clicked into place on this album.”Now he’s the latest major artist to book a Sphere run since the venue opened in 2023.
Ready to plan the trip? Travel and VIP packages go on sale Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 10 a.m. PT. The artist presale opens Oct. 7 at 10 a.m. PT, and fans can register now on Mayer’s website. Given how quickly Sphere shows have sold in the past, early registration is the move.
Which night would you pick: solo, full band or trio? Let us know in the comments.
