John Mayer is bringing something completely different to the Las Vegas Sphere. The musician just announced a 12-show residency across April and May 2027, and every performance will feature three distinct sets: a solo portion with acoustic guitar, piano, and electric guitar, a full-band set, and a set with the John Mayer Trio featuring Steve Jordan and Pino Palladino.

The run opens Thursday, April 8 and continues through May 8, with newly added dates on April 28 and 30 plus May 1, 5, 7, and 8. Artist pre-sale begins today, October 7, at 10 a.m. PT, while general on-sale starts Friday, October 9 at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster. VIP packages have been available since September 30.

Every show will also be auctioned through Charity Auctions Today, with 100% of proceeds benefiting Mayer’s Heart and Armor Foundation, which supports veterans’health. The residency marks Mayer’s solo debut at Sphere after performing there with Dead&Company in 2024 and 2025.

Which set are you most excited for: solo, full band, or the Trio? Let us know in the comments.
