Jessica Lange did not hold back at the PaleyFest reunion for“American Horror Story: Coven.”The Oscar winner told the crowd that FX was“f–king cheap”for not providing car service to the cast, who she says drove themselves home at 4 or 5 a.m. and parked on French Quarter streets in New Orleans. Then she threw the network a sarcastic salute. Sarah Paulson’s reaction alone is worth the watch.

To be fair, Lange also said she ultimately had a good time, because New Orleans is a great place to shoot. And she cleared up why she came back for Season 13 after an eight-year break: Ryan Murphy let her play all four of her original characters. Now that she’s done that, she says she’s finished with the show for good. FX hasn’t responded to requests for comment.

The clip is getting so much traction because it’s not really just about one show. It’s about streaming-era budget cuts and which perks count as basic courtesy versus luxury. A late-night ride home feels less like a diva demand and more like a safety net, whether you’re a star or a PA. So what do you think: should productions cover rides home after overnight shoots, or is that just part of the gig?
