JENNIE's First Adidas Originals Collection Is Here: Ballet Sneakers, Leg Warmers and a New EP

JENNIE is officially a sneaker codesigner. Her first Adidas Originals collection,“Functional Grace,”launched Sept. 1, and it blends ballet restraint with sporty silhouettes. The anchor piece is the Superstar SQ Ballet, a pointe-shoe take on the classic Superstar with a squared toe, ribbon detailing and lambskin lining. The FW26 apparel lineup goes just as soft and cozy: track tops, wrap skirts, fleece hoodies, leg warmers and cut-out socks.

The fashion drop lines up with a full music era. Her EP Fallen Angel arrived the same night she celebrated the collection in West Hollywood, and her Tame Impala collaboration“Dracula”recently topped Billboard’s Radio Songs chart while returning to its No. 5 high on the Hot 100. In her own words, she wanted to reinterpret the classic identity of Adidas Originals through her perspective and energy, and the result reads unmistakably JENNIE.
