Jason Tartick and Kathryn Hurley are officially in wedding planning mode. The former Bachelorette contestant told Us Weekly that the couple is going with a destination wedding next fall, trading the idea of a 300-plus guest blowout for several days with the people they love most.“It’s going to be next fall, and it’s going to be everything we dream of,”he said, adding that he already calls Hurley his wife and has her saved in his phone as Kathryn Tartick.
The couple’s origin story is as good as it gets. They met when Tartick rescued a dog from Hurley’s organization, Wags&Walks Nashville, and he proposed in July during a trip to Italy. Tartick also opened up about why the guest list shrank as he’s gotten older, saying his circle has just gotten smaller over time, a feeling plenty of people in their late 30s know well.
Tartick, 38, first became a familiar face on season 14 of The Bachelorette and now hosts the Trading Secrets podcast. With a wedding and hopefully kids on the horizon, this is one celebrity romance worth following.
