Some TV couples make you swear the chemistry is too good to be fake. Turns out, for“Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman”fans, it wasn’t. Jane Seymour revealed at a panel that she and co-star Joe Lando, aka Dr. Mike and Sully,“really fell in love”while filming the show in the 1990s.
The romance reportedly sparked days into production, when Lando drove Seymour in his pickup truck to avoid a flash flood. The pair eventually split because they wanted different things: Lando pictured four kids and a white picket fence, while Seymour was already a mother of two. She says the two barely spoke for six or seven years after the show wrapped.
These days, the former co-stars are close friends. Seymour, 75, is engaged to musician John Zambetti, and Lando, 64, has four children with wife Kirsten Barlow. The two even reunited on screen for the 2022 Lifetime movie“A Christmas Spark,”proof that exes can absolutely stay in each other’s lives.
