Iron Maiden and Z2 Comics are turning“Somewhere In Time”into a full graphic novel.“Somewhere In Time: The Graphic Album”arrives March 2nd, 2027, and it adapts each of the eight songs from the 1986 album into its own comic. The story puts Eddie in the far future as a gun-wielding cyborg, which guitarist Adrian Smith calls his favorite version of the mascot.

The book comes stacked with extras: a prologue, an epilogue, an introduction from comic legend Bill Sienkiewicz, and an interview with Adrian Smith. Deluxe and Platinum editions arrive in metallic Time Machine slipcases with a diecut green acetate targeting lens, while the retail edition offers three covers. Cover art for the collector editions comes from Blake Armstrong.

If the book wasn’t enough, Iron Maiden also announced a spring 2027 North American tour, meaning fans get new comics and live shows in the same season. Preorders for the graphic novel are available now. Which Iron Maiden album would you want adapted next?
