Law&Order: SVU is going full Halloween this year. Tonight’s Season 28 episode,“Arcana,”revolves around a clairvoyant’s account of a nighttime assault, and Capt. Curry has to put her skepticism aside when the case heads toward a long-buried family secret. That alone would be enough, but the first-look clip is what has everyone talking: the squad room basically turns into a ghost-story circle.
Rollins says a palm reader accurately predicted she’d have three children, while Det. Griffin remembers seeing a woman at the end of a hallway who waved and then vanished. Ice-T’s Sgt. Tutuola, ever the pragmatist, declares there are no ghosts and no poltergeists, then closes his case with“It’s just us! Us and the aliens!”Fair enough.
“Arcana”airs Thursday, Oct. 29 at 9 p.m. on NBC and streams on Peacock the following day. So grab some candy, dim the lights, and get ready to question every hallway you walk past tonight.
