Hulu just revealed its October slate, and it’s a perfect mix of returning favorites and brand-new shows.“Abbott Elementary”Season 6 premieres October 7 and streams Thursdays, while the witchy new series“Coven Academy”arrives October 2. Mid-month brings Connie Britton and Sam Nivola in the mystery comedy“Phony”on October 14, plus“The Lowdown”Season 2 with Ethan Hawke at 9 p.m. ET. ABC fans also get fresh episodes of“9-1-1,”“Grey’s Anatomy”and“Shark Tank.”

Horror lovers are covered from every angle.“American Horror Story”Season 13 is airing now with 13 episodes, and the movie lineup includes“Ghostbusters,”“Hereditary”and“Midsommar”for your Halloween marathons. Sports fans aren’t left out either, with eight NHL games available on Hulu in October at no extra cost.

As for cost, Hulu with ads runs $11.99 a month and ad-free is $18.99 a month. That’s a lot of entertainment for one subscription, especially with everything dropping this month.
