HBO’s newest legal drama“War”premieres tonight at 9 p.m. ET, and it’s already one of the most talked-about shows of the fall. The eight-episode series stars Dominic West as Morgan Henderson, a tech mogul, and Sienna Miller as his wife Carla Duval, a film star whose explosive divorce turns into a headline-grabbing battle between two of London’s most powerful law firms, Cathcarts and Sons and Taylor and Byrne.

Critics are on board: the show holds an 83% Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. HBO is clearly confident too, having given it a two-season order with Season 2 already in production. That season will shift focus to a defamation case and adds Oscar winner Marisa Tomei to the cast, alongside Phoebe Fox and James McArdle, who star as the rival law partners at the center of the drama.

New episodes air weekly through Nov. 19, so there’s plenty of time to get caught up and join the conversation. HBO Max plans start at $10.99 per month with ads, or $18.49 without. Will you be watching tonight? Let us know in the comments.
