Hailee Steinfeld Is Voicing a Teen Witch in Disney's Hexed and She Says It's a "Dream Come True"

Hailee Steinfeld stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to talk about her new role as Billie Doe in Disney Animation’s Hexed, and her excitement was completely contagious. The film stars Steinfeld as a rebellious teenager who discovers she’s a witch with actual powers, and it lands in theaters this Thanksgiving.“It’s such a dream come true,”she told Fallon.“You jump at the opportunity to be a part of a Disney animated original.”

The timing of this project makes it even more special. Steinfeld began recording while she was pregnant and finished after welcoming her first child, Harper Haize, in April with husband Josh Allen. So Hexed bookends one of the biggest personal chapters of her life, which makes the“dream come true”line hit even harder.

She also reflected on Sinners, Ryan Coogler’s film that won four Oscars from a record 16 nominations, and kept things mysterious when Fallon asked about her rumored Marvel return in Avengers: Doomsday.
