Ken Urker, the former fiancé of Gypsy Rose Blanchard and father of her 21-month-old daughter Aurora Raina, was found unresponsive in a Raceland, Louisiana home on his 34th birthday. His sister Autumn confirmed his death, and the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office says the investigation is ongoing.
Blanchard told People she was in disbelief, saying Urker“was not in a good state of mind lately”and that she did not know whether his death was intentional. She also told TMZ that he had been the victim of relentless cyberbullying. In her statement, she called him her“soulmate”and her“red string, a connection that time, distance and even death can never erase.”
The two met as pen pals while Blanchard was imprisoned for her role in her mother’s 2015 murder, and their on-and-off relationship played out publicly for years.
