Rockstar Games has officially announcedGrand Theft Auto VI: The Album, a 34-track companion soundtrack arriving November 19th, the same day the game launches on Xbox and PlayStation 5. Six songs are already available on streaming, led by Travis Scott’s“RHYNO,”produced by Daft Punk’s Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. The first batch also includes new music from Morgan Wallen, Keith Richards, Rauw Alejandro, Yung Lean with Future and Metro Boomin, and a collaboration from CA7RIEL&Paco Amoroso with PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and Etienne de Crécy.
The remaining 28 tracks will be revealed closer to release, but the early lineup already spans rap, country, Latin, electronic and rock, a mix that mirrors the genre-hopping approach GTA soundtracks have always been known for. Historically, these albums have introduced emerging artists to massive mainstream audiences, and this one looks built to do the same.
Vinyl and CD pre-orders opened September 17th, and game pre-loads begin November 12th ahead of the November 19th launch. Which artist on this tracklist are you most excited to hear? Let us know in the comments.
