Grand Theft Auto VI doesn’t arrive until November 19, but Rockstar Games just made the wait a lot harder. The studio revealed the hosts for the game’s six in-game radio stations, and the lineup reads like a festival poster. Bad Bunny and RaiNao anchor the Latin station Cocoteo FM as El Martillo and La Gata, while Lana Del Rey and Morgan Wallen co-host Back Country Radio under the aliases Delta Dawne and MW.
The surprises keep coming. Burna Boy takes AfroBank FM, Robyn and Alex Consani run the pop station Flash FM, Trick Daddy and Trina hold down Dirty South Classics, and Kerry King and Tom Araya bring the noise on metal station The Chamber 106.6. Maybe the best detail of all: Lana Del Rey’s husband, Jeremy Dufrene, appears in the game as roving reporter Mud Dog Mike. Radio has always been the heartbeat of the GTA experience, and this cast proves Rockstar knows exactly how much fans care about it.
That’s not all, because a 34-track original soundtrack drops the same day as the game. It follows a six-song preview featuring Travis Scott, Yung Lean, PinkPantheress and Fred again.., which already had fans dissecting every second. So whether you’re here for the gameplay or the fictional airwaves, November 19 is shaping up to be a full cultural moment.
