Gracie Abrams served full movie-star energy on SNL’s Halloween episode, performing“Hit The Wall”dressed as Claire Danes’Juliet from Baz Luhrmann’s 1996 Romeo + Juliet. The set included an aquarium that recreated the film’s famous first-meeting moment, and she followed it up later in the show as Leonardo DiCaprio’s Romeo for the brand new track“Here You Come, There You Go.”
That new song arrived October 29 and will appear on the Daughter From Hell deluxe edition, out November 20 via Interscope. The deluxe adds five additional songs, giving fans plenty to dig into before her Look At My Life Tour begins December 2 in Denver. The tour will also reach the UK and Ireland next spring.
Between the costume changes, the cinematic staging, and the new music, this was one of the most talked-about SNL performances of the season. Inde Navarrette hosted the episode, and the show’s upcoming musical guests include The Strokes and Phoebe Bridgers. Which performance are you more excited about, the movie tribute or the new song? Let us know in the comments.
