Gleb Savchenko wants back in the ballroom, but not in the way you might expect. The longtime Dancing With the Stars pro told Us Weekly that his absence from season 35 is just a“little hiatus”and a“reset,”and he insists he is not retired. His comeback plan? Return as a celebrity contestant and take home the mirrorball.“I’m not retired from Dancing with the Stars. I’m coming back as a celebrity to win it,”he said.

Gleb, who has been with the show since 2013, also shared his thoughts on this season. He named Tyler Cameron and Sharna Burgess as the underdogs to watch, defended Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Dewan against criticism about their prior dance experience, and said the judges, Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli, are not harsh enough. His suggestion:“I wish there could be some twos. Throw a two.”He even joked that casting director Deena Katz should make him a guest judge.

So what do you think? Would Gleb actually make a great celebrity contestant, or should he stay a pro? And are the judges really too easy on everyone? Tell us your take.
