McDowell denies forcing his wife to tour. He says she wants to sing and has not been diagnosed with dementia. Knight herself addressed the situation Monday, telling fans the“midnight train”has“just a few more stops”and that she intends to finish her remaining 2026 shows, with dates listed into November and a recent performance in Terre Haute, Indiana.
