Frankie Muniz Posts Tire Safety Video One Day After Saying He Hit 'Rock Bottom'

Frankie Muniz had a weekend that nobody could have predicted. On Friday, the actor and NASCAR driver told Instagram followers that the last six weeks had been a nightmare he’s praying to wake up from, adding that this isn’t the end of the story. It’s the part where he starts doing the uncomfortable work. By Saturday, he was back on the app, but instead of a follow-up on any of that, he posted a tire safety video demonstrating the penny tread test and tagging Priority Tire.

The timing raised eyebrows for obvious reasons. Muniz, 40, recently reprised his Malcolm in the Middle role, and he and estranged wife Paige Price announced their divorce in July after 10 years together. Hours after his tire clip went up, Price shared a cryptic message about perspective. Neither has said the two posts are related, so the internet is doing what the internet does: speculating.
