The Real Housewives of New York City feud between Erika Hammond and Erin Lichy just got a lot messier. It started when Lichy and castmate Daisy Toye mocked Hammond’s Moskito Island estate on the show, with Toye calling it a“dump”compared to Martha Stewart’s standards. Lichy sent a text apology after the episode aired, but then referred to the property as a“rental home”again at Page Six’s 2026 Virtual Reali-Tea Awards. Hammond did not let that slide, telling the outlet,“That is a fake apology. I don’t like fake apologies.”
For context, Moskito Island is a private estate in the British Virgin Islands owned by nine families, including Hammond, her husband Ankur Jain, and his family. Richard Branson originally purchased it. Lichy told Page Six she was“pissed”about being placed on a pull-out couch during a visit and insisted she didn’t mean“rental home”in a negative way. Hammond’s response to that:“If you don’t like it, you’re not welcome back anyway.”
RHONY airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo, with episodes streaming next day on Peacock. Do you think Erin’s apology was sincere, or is Erika right to call it out? Sound off in the comments.
