Elizabeth Holmes Posted About Her Child's Safety From Prison and the Internet Had Receipts

Elizabeth Holmes is back in the headlines, and this time it’s not about blood testing. The Theranos founder, currently serving a 135-month sentence at a federal prison camp in Bryan, Texas, took to X on Friday to post about her child’s“health and safety”being put at risk, adding a threat to“burn bridges.”The problem? The internet immediately remembered that her company ran fraudulent blood tests on real patients, and the replies turned into a full-on roast. Rather than address the irony, Holmes fired back with insults.

The timing is hard to ignore. Holmes is reportedly set to move to a halfway house in Del Valle, Texas, in 2027, she has repeatedly asked President Trump for a commutation or pardon, and a new documentary about her life, You Can See Everything, opens in theaters October 16. Co-directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, the film is already fueling renewed public fascination with her story.
