A DoorDash driver named Bee is going viral after walking into a CVS and confronting an employee at the register, accusing her of falsely reporting a food order as undelivered so she wouldn’t have to pay for it. The confrontation, posted to TikTok and reposted by @rhopson24, pulled in 28,600 likes and 1,742 comments, and it’s easy to see why. Bee cites North Carolina recording laws while filming, tells the employee the footage is headed to DoorDash and CVS corporate, and delivers a farewell line that’s already become a meme:“I hope you enjoyed your food. Hope it filled you up and is energizing you for your shift.”
The employee denies the accusation and tells Bee she’s interfering with her work and never consented to being recorded. That’s the tension at the center of this whole thing. False“order never arrived”reports can hit a driver’s ratings and even their ability to keep working, so drivers have real incentive to fight back. But confronting someone at their job with a camera rolling raises its own questions about privacy and workplace boundaries. Commenters have flooded in with fixes, from photo confirmation at drop-off to delivery codes to pulling the store’s own camera footage.
What we don’t have is the ending. The Daily Dot couldn’t verify the employee’s identity, whether the order actually made it, or what came of any reports Bee said she’d file. So before you pick a side, remember we’re working with one video and a lot of missing context.
Whose word do you trust in a delivery dispute: the driver, the customer, or the app? Sound off in the comments.
