Diddy Sent Back to Solitary Confinement After Report on Alleged Prison Perks

Sean“Diddy”Combs has been moved back into solitary confinement at Fort Dix federal prison in New Jersey, according to TMZ, after NBC News published a report on his life behind bars. The report, based on interviews with four inmates, alleged that Combs had a contraband phone, Hennessy, and the antidepressant Remeron, and that other inmates cooked, cleaned, and handled his laundry. Footage of him using a phone reportedly preceded his removal from dormitory housing. It’s his second stint in isolation after a prison fight sent him there in July 2025, while he serves a 50-month sentence for two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

A spokesperson for Combs pushed back on the coverage, saying the continued scrutiny has reached the point where the media“characterizes ordinary prison life as news,”and that the only real story is that Combs is serving his sentence while awaiting a court decision on his appeal. The dueling narratives have turned a prison housing update into a debate about celebrity privilege, contraband enforcement in federal facilities, and how much attention one inmate’s daily routine deserves.

The appeal is still pending, so this story likely isn’t going anywhere soon. What do you think: is this genuine accountability reporting, or has the coverage crossed into obsession? Drop your take in the comments.
