Deon Cole just pulled off the friendship move of the year. The comedian and actor shared an Instagram video on October 5 showing two longtime friends being surprised with brand-new vehicles, and the reactions are everything. One friend received a black Ford Bronco, complete with Cole tossing him the keys and even offering a Hummer instead if he preferred. The second friend was gifted a GMC Hummer EV at a dealership, right after joking that he wasn’t ready for one.
The moment that really sent the video viral wasn’t the cars, though. It was the first friend’s reaction, pure, genuine happiness for his buddy before he even knew another surprise was coming. Both men hugged Cole and wiped away tears, and the comment section flooded with people praising a friendship that clearly runs deep. Cole kept his caption simple, writing“Love my brothas,”a nod to loyalty over flash.
In a year full of messy celebrity headlines, a story about someone quietly lifting up the people who’ve been there from the start hits a little different. It’s a reminder that success means the most when it’s shared.
Who’s the one friend you’d surprise like this if you could? Tell us in the comments.
