David Eason is officially off the market, and the announcement came with a plot twist. The former Teen Mom star, 38, confirmed he’s dating content creator Madi B, whose real name is Madison. He told Us Weekly the two have known each other for years but only recently connected, and he’s already gushing about her cooking and back rubs. The relationship went public in the messiest way possible: David posted a boat photo with Madi on Facebook on September 27 and called her“just friends,”then two days later she shared a kissing video on Instagram with the caption“Friendships evolve, right.”
The timing lands right after his latest split from Jenelle Evans, 36. The two briefly reconnected in September before calling it off again, and Jenelle has since said she’s done with him for good while focusing on her health after her CRPS diagnosis. The exes share nine-year-old daughter Ensley, so their lives stay connected no matter what.
David isn’t just moving on in his love life, either. He says he’s recorded three new songs, including one titled“Still David,”coming soon. So there’s new music, a new relationship, and a whole lot of internet commentary to go with it.
What do you think: is a“just friends”post followed by a kissing video two days later a red flag or just how dating works now? Sound off in the comments.
