Dave Grohl has played thousands of shows, but Friday night at MetLife Stadium might be the one he remembers forever. Foo Fighters returned as surprise openers on AC/DC’s PWR UP tour, and during his set, Grohl told the crowd about watching AC/DC’s“Let There Be Rock”concert film when he was just 11 years old.“I didn’t know that rock and roll could be like that,”he told the stadium, adding that the movie made him want to do this for the rest of his life.

Then he proved it. Grohl came back out during AC/DC’s set and joined the band for a performance of“Highway to Hell”alongside Angus Young and Phil Rudd. It was the second time Foo Fighters have popped up as surprise openers on this tour, but this one carried extra weight, because it wasn’t just a guest spot. It was a kid from Virginia living out the exact moment that made him want to be a musician in the first place.

Full-circle doesn’t even cover it. The man who watched AC/DC on a screen at 11 got to stand next to them on a stage in front of tens of thousands of fans. What concert moment from your life would you put on that level? Tell us in the comments.
