Dakota Johnson and MGK Reportedly Had Their First Date at Taylor Swift's Apartment

Dakota Johnson and MGK are the celebrity pairing nobody saw coming, and their first date apparently came with a very famous address. The two were spotted at Taylor Swift’s Tribeca apartment on Friday, September 11. A source says they hit it off and wanted privacy, so Dakota reached out to Taylor, who offered her place while she was out of town. Close friends using her apartment while she’s away is standard Taylor behavior at this point.

From there, the pair were seen at Dakota’s hotel and later at Estela for dinner. Both are 36, both are recently single, and they’ve crossed paths at Vogue World and Taylor’s wedding over the years. MGK split from Megan Fox in November 2024. Dakota broke up with Role Model in August, after previously dating Chris Martin from 2017 to 2025.
