Daft Punk and LEGO have officially announced a full-scale partnership spanning products, content, and brand experiences, and the first release is a fan-designed LEGO set of the iconic Alive 2007 pyramid stage. The build comes from Patrick Harboun and his then-eight-year-old son, who created it for LEGO’s 2020“Music to Our Ears!”competition. It went on to reach 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas and spent time in the“Parking Lot”waiting for production clearance before finally getting the green light.

The announcement was teased October 21 during a broadcast on Daft Punk’s WDPK 83.7, complete with cryptic markings like“2007”and“22.10.”Harboun said the whole thing“started as a creative escape during lockdown”between him and his son over their shared love of Daft Punk and LEGO, adding that they“never dared imagine it would take off in this way.”The partnership arrives more than five years after the duo’s 2021 breakup, making it a rare official project from the retired robots.

For fans, this is nostalgia gold: the pyramid stage is one of the most recognizable setups in electronic music history, and the fan-to-official journey makes it feel personal. LEGO’s music collaborations keep growing, and this one might be the most emotional yet. Would you grab this set the moment it drops?
