Chad Lowe's Father Honors Granddaughter Fiona After Her Death at 13

Charles“Chuck”Lowe, father of actor Chad Lowe, shared a tribute to his granddaughter Fiona on Instagram Wednesday, one day after her death was announced. The post was simple: a photo of 13-year-old Fiona swimming, with the caption“Rest in peace, sweet Fiona.”Fiona was the middle daughter of Chad Lowe and wife Kim Painter, between sisters Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10.

Chad and Kim announced Fiona’s death Tuesday in a statement to Page Six, describing her as“a loving young girl who was smart, creative and loved to dance,”and calling her“the light of our lives.”The family asked for prayers and privacy, and directed anyone struggling with mental health to the 988 Suicide&Crisis Lifeline. Fiona’s school notified parents that a student had died, without naming the student, and made counselors available to students and staff.
