Celine Dion shared opening-night highlights from her Paris residency on Instagram Thursday, and one detail stole the whole show. She wore a black Dior dress with a Boucheron diamond pendant called“The Address,”built around a 10.01-carat emerald-cut diamond. The piece took 1,107 hours to create and had never been worn by anyone before her.
The necklace is inspired by an archival Boucheron design shaped after the octagonal Place Vendôme in Paris. But the meaning runs deeper than the craftsmanship. Dion said her husband René Angélil always wore Boucheron perfume, and wearing the necklace makes her feel like he’s still here. René died in January 2016.
The moment lands differently because of everything Dion has been through since. She was diagnosed with stiff person syndrome in 2022 and stepped away from the stage for years. Now she’s back in Paris, performing again, and carrying René with her. What’s the most meaningful piece of jewelry you own?
