Catherine Zeta-Jones Still Hasn't Read Michael Douglas' Memoir, and Her Reason Is So Real

Catherine Zeta-Jones has a confession, and it’s about her husband’s book. The actress appeared on the“Today”show and admitted she still hasn’t finished Michael Douglas’memoir,“One Helluva Ride.”Her explanation was blunt and hilarious: as much as she loves him, when she’s tired at night, she has no intention of reading about him.

Before you judge, check her calendar. Zeta-Jones spent seven months in Dublin filming“Wednesday”Season 3, then shot the new Prime Video series“Kill Jackie”in London, then traveled to Bilbao, Spain. That’s a year of nonstop work, which doesn’t leave much room for bedtime reading, especially when the book is about your own spouse.

Douglas told Page Six he’s happy with how the memoir turned out and said he warned his wife about its racy content. The book covers his past affairs and his struggles with cocaine and alcohol. Zeta-Jones teased that everyone should hold onto their cowboy hats. The couple has been married since 2000, so she’s had plenty of time to hear the stories in person.
