Michael Douglas’new memoir“One Helluva Ride”is out, and it is not a light read. The book covers his past affairs with Kathleen Turner and Jeanne Tripplehorn, plus his cocaine and alcohol struggles that led him to rehab. But the person closest to him hasn’t made it to the last page yet. Catherine Zeta-Jones told the“Today”show that when she’s tired at night, she has no intention of reading about her husband, at all. She did add that she still recommends the book to everyone else.

Her exhaustion makes sense. She’s spent the past year filming“Wednesday”Season 3 in Dublin and“Kill Jackie”in London. Douglas told Page Six that she is“in the midst”of reading it, and he wasn’t bothered one bit. He also said the couple is in its 26th year of marriage and that he simply enjoys her company.

The pair married in November 2000 and share two children, Dylan, 26, and Carys, 23. So the memoir is bringing the drama, while the marriage is bringing the most normal cozy energy imaginable. Would you read your partner’s tell-all memoir, or would you wait for the highlights?
