Carly Rae Jepsen Drops 24-Track Double Album Day and Night: Here's How the Two Discs Compare

Carly Rae Jepsen has released her new double album, Day and Night, and it’s as ambitious as the title suggests. The project spans 24 tracks across two discs, each built around a distinct mood and sound.

The Day disc leans into organic, live instrumentation with a’70s-inspired psychedelic pop feel, while the Night half is synth-driven dance pop made for after-dark listening. Carly Rae Jepsen worked with contributors Tavish Crowe, Kyle Shearer, Nate Cyphert, and Cole M.G.N. on the record, which was previewed by four singles:“On Wires,”“After All,”“Don’t Leave Me on the Dance Floor,”and“Motivation.”
