A 14-year-old freshman has transferred out of Carl Albert High School after his mother says he was choked in a hallway, harassed, and sexually assaulted by members of the football team. According to Neecha Robinson, the abuse began in August and escalated from physical harassment and destroyed belongings to a locker room assault. Video of the choking incident circulated on TikTok before it was ever formally reported.

Robinson says her son told the football coach, but the information never made it to principal Kristin Goggans, and she wasn’t notified until recently. She also says staff urged her son not to take the matter further. The teen is now enrolled at another school and receiving therapy, while the Oklahoma County District Attorney’s office has reached out to the family.

The case raises tough questions about athletics culture, transparency, and whether parents are being kept informed when serious allegations surface. It also involves one of the most prominent football programs in Oklahoma, which only adds pressure to how the investigation moves forward. We want to hear from local parents: what should school notification policies look like, and would you trust the process if it were your child?
