Candace Cameron Bure is competing on Season 5 of“Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test,”set in Malaysia, and the latest challenge pushed her way outside her comfort zone. The task, called“Red Man,”required recruits to channel controlled aggression, and Bure was encouraged to tap into the frustration she feels over media attacks on her beliefs. Her reaction to the boxing portion was honest:“Boxing goes against everything that I think is good and right and true. It feels so wrong to punch someone.”

She did it anyway, and won her match against Alexia Umansky, who is about 21 years younger. Bure has said she joined the show to challenge herself and relies on her faith to get through the military-style tasks. This season has included chemical warfare drills, hostage rescue challenges and suspended ladders, all overseen by former military operatives. One twist worth noting: no recruits have been eliminated for failing a task.

Bure’s comments are giving fans plenty to discuss, from faith under pressure to what controlled aggression even means. So we want to hear from you.

Could you flip a switch into controlled aggression on command, or would you freeze? Drop your answer in the comments.
